Ingredients:

For 6 persons

  • 1.5 kg of veal
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 4 new onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 50 cl of coconut milk
  • 50 g of butter
  • 1 + ½ lime
  • 3 sprigs of basil
  • 2 tablespoons curry
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of sunflower oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation:

Chop, peel and cut the tomatoes into cubes. In a casserole, melt 25 g butter and oil. Brown the meat cut in cubes for 10 minutes, stirring. Salt and reserve. Add the remaining butter and melt the garlic and onions.

Add the tomatoes and simmer over very low heat for 15 minutes. Mix everything until smooth purée. Then add the veal, curry, turmeric and mix. Sprinkle with lemon juice, pepper and basil sprigs.

While whisking, slowly pour the coconut milk and cook over high heat for 45 minutes. Add a drizzle of lemon juice and sprinkle with basil.
