Samosas chicken pancakes with apricot jam

Here is an idea of ​​sweet and savory original recipe that will make an effect for an animated Candlemas!


For a dozen buckwheat cakes:

  • 320 g of black wheat flour
  • 8 g coarse salt
  • 75 cl of cold water
  • 1 egg

For garnish :

  • 3 buckwheat cakes
  • 3 chicken cutlets
  • 1 onion
  • Happy Mother's Apricot Jam
  • a pinch of Espelette pepper
  • salt and pepper


For patties:

Mix the salt and flour in a large salad bowl, then add the water as you go and never stop mixing with a whisk.

Add the egg and whisk until smooth and even.

Cook the patties in a hot pan.

For garnish :

Finely chop the onion and slice the chicken cutlets, add them to a pan and cook over low heat.

Season by adding Espelette pepper, salt and pepper.

Deglaze the pan by adding 3 large tablespoons of apricot jam.

Simmer for another 2 minutes over low heat.
